Reality TV US Viewership

Power BI, Google Sheets

Overview:

For two Reality TV shows I enjoy (Survivor and Big Brother) - I wanted to look into their historical popularity. Due to available common data among shows, I decided to first focus on US Viewership. In this Power BI Report you can view per Show totals, averages, historical line trends, while using the slicer filters and hover tooltips for additional analysis.

Features/Analysis Enablement:

This Power BI Report displays each Shows overall summary for number of Episodes with data, the average US Viewership, and historical trending Line charts. Hovering over a point within either Line chart results in a tooltip displaying more detailed information pertaining to selection. The report can be filtered by the bottom "Show", "Date", "Season", "Season Episode Number", "Title", and "US Viewers" slicers. I used Google Sheets to ETL (Extract,Transform, Load) this Wikipedia data and the goal was to set-up initial framework architecture for comparing/analyzing between shows that is scalable for future shows to be added in the future.
